Electronics is a type of science and technology that deals with electricity and circuits. It is a way to power something up and basically make something work.  There are many components that are used with electronics like resistors and capacitors as well as transformers. Electronics work with a positive and negative current which can be either DC or AC current that makes the circuit or electronic board work.

In our FIRST robot we use electronics to make our robot work. Without them we would not be able to power our motors nor would we be able to control it. To do this electronic building we use the help of Engineers and together we follow specific schematics and learn about electricity. We learn about all the different parts like the motor controller and the Digital I/O that is used to distribute the programing from the cRIO to the various parts of our robot. We also have a circuit breaker and a power distributer board that is in charge to give the electric current from the battery to the various parts according to their power need, like amperage and volts. The team is composed of four students and is led by Alejandro.
